Kimberly & Phillip - Des Moines

Last weekend we had the pleasure of photographing Kimberly and Phillip's wedding. Even though the weather forecast threatened rain and gloom, we were blessed with blue skies and beautiful sun shining for the special day. Traveling between three different locations for the ceremony, reception, and photoshoots, we definitely kept busy! We were fortunate to find an amazing spot for our photoshoots at the Landmark on the Sound in Des Moines. Formerly the Masonic Home of Washington built in 1926, this amazing mansion is now open to the public and made a spectacular backdrop for the wedding party. The ceremony was held at West Valley Advent Christian Church and the reception following at the Des Moines Yacht Club. Both sites were completely transformed with the exquisite decorations -- absolutely stunning! The bride is a future wedding planner herself, and we definitely give her props for her amazing work! The entire day was filled with love and joy and we were so thrilled to be able to capture their memories. Congratulations Kimberly and Phillip, we wish you many years of happiness!

Valerie & Jesse - Port Townsend

We had the wonderful pleasure of filming the video for Valerie & Jesse's beautiful wedding located in Port Townsend, over Memorial Day weekend. And even though it was gray and rainy, the uplifting spirit of the bride and groom helped make the day amazing! And as we were taking a few photos to use for their DVD cover art, we were able to capture this incredible shot! Stay tuned for video samples to come! Congratulations Valerie and Jesse and we know God will continue to bless your new journey together!

Rosanna & Robert – Beauty and the Beach

This last weekend, we captured Rosanna & Robert’s wedding, which took place at Ocean Shores – a gorgeous location. Unfortunately, the weather didn’t want to cooperate! Luckily, they had a “plan B” set at the Best Western Lighthouse Inn.

We had a great session with the bride and groom on the beach – then the clouds opened up and it started pouring! Rosanna was such a great sport, not often do you find a bride who doesn’t care that she’s getting soaked and still climbing through grassy dunes. And as a result we got some amazing shots!

Congratulations Rosanna and Robert, it was our pleasure to work with you.

Samantha & David – Perfect Day in the Park

We had the pleasure of photographing Sam & David’s wedding set at the beautiful Angle Lake Park! The day started off smoothly as we headed over to the groom’s place to catch the guys getting ready. Then as we headed over to the bride’s girls getting ready head quarters, we ran into some roadblocks – literally! Of course there would be construction blocking every road getting to the house! This caused slight stress to the wedding party as many involved struggled to find their way to the house. But luckily, everyone made it there in time!

After the morning’s construction adventure, the rest of the day went beautifully! When we got to the park for the ceremony, we were amazed at the elegance of the location! The parks association has really done wonders with this public park and we can’t recommend it highly enough to anyone looking for a great local destination for a wedding. On top of the scenic landscape the weather cooperated to create breath-taking views! No could’ve asked for a more beautiful day for a wedding.

From start to finish, Sam & David’s wedding was filled with beauty, class, and warmth. It was a joy to celebrate with the awesome couple and be able to capture their memories! Congratulations Samantha and David and may God bless your new life together!

Lea Ann & Dale – Simplicity at the Sea

          Sometimes it’s nice to have a small wedding filled with the comforts of your closest friends and family. And this was definitely how Lea Ann and Dale’s wedding was!

          Set at the beautiful venue of Ray’s Boathouse on Shilshole Bay in their Northwest Room, the view during the ceremony was simply gorgeous!  Then the entire day followed suit as it unfolded into a wonderful reunion of all their closest family and friends.  The food was delicious and the weather was perfect!  Then the day came to a close as we finished up family portraits and then headed for a personal photo shoot with the special couple at a viewpoint park overlooking the water.  

          As they head off on their fun-filled Honeymoon, we wish them all the best – Congratulations Lea Ann & Dale! 

Laura & James - Timeless Joy

          We knew right from the time we met Laura and James that this was going to be a fun wedding.  They are such a great couple, full of life and energy with a great sense of humor.  The entire day was so well organized that they even hit every event on time to the minute!  

          Starting out at a beautiful and quaint chapel in Kirkland, we then followed the party to the picturesque Bothell Landing Park.  We had a great time getting some romantic shots of the couple in some fantastic settings.  Then it was on the reception where to real party began!  As the DJ announced the entrances of the entire wedding party, they danced their way into the charming Courtyard Hall at Country Village.  From that time on, the party never stopped!  There were definitely times while filming the fun that we wanted to jump in and party too! 

          From the beautiful traditional ceremony to the fun filled reception, their wedding was filled with elegant class and joyous laughter.  We hope the best for both of them as they start down the road in their new life together!  Congratulations Laura & James!

Molly & Adam - Country Elegance

          We had the great opportunity to shoot Molly and Adam's video at the beautifully selected "A Country Location."  These are a few shots we grabbed while filming.  The landscape was amazing and the day was gorgeous!  Luckily the heat died down from our record breaking temperatures to give us all a break during the outdoor festivities.  

         The attention to detail was one of my favorite parts of their wedding.  Vibrant colors everywhere, swarms of butterfly accents, and of course three adorable flower girls complete with huge fluffy skirts and butterfly wings!  Congratulations Molly and Adam and thank you for letting us capture your special day!
